Common questions

Can I get more Unlocks today?

No. You get 6 Unlocks a day. They reset at local midnight, and unused ones don't carry over.

I removed a site, but it's still blocked.

Removing a site or turning blocking off is a Pending Change. It takes effect at the start of the next day. You can see your Pending Changes in the Chrome extension's popup or in the iPhone app.

Why can I only add sites?

Once you've used all 6 of today's Unlocks, the Settings Lock begins. Until midnight you can add sites but not remove them or turn blocking off.

Incognito windows aren't blocked.

Chrome runs extensions in Incognito only when you allow it. Open the extension's details from chrome://extensions and turn on "Allow in Incognito."

How do I unlock an app on iPhone?

Open the Not Every Second app and start an Unlock there. The Block Screen on a blocked app can't open the app for you.

Do my Unlocks sync between computers?

No. Your Block List follows your Chrome account, but each computer keeps its own 6 Unlocks and its own Unlock Session.
