Privacy Policy

In short

Not Every Second collects no personal information. It has no account, no server, no analytics, and no ads. What it needs to work stays on your device or in your own Chrome account.

iPhone app

You choose apps, categories, and websites with Apple's Screen Time picker. Apple gives the app opaque tokens instead of the names of what you chose. The app keeps those tokens, your Unlock count, and your Pending Changes on your iPhone only, and never sends them anywhere.

Screen Time data is used only to block and unblock what you chose. Deleting the app deletes this data, and you can turn off the app's Screen Time access in Settings at any time.

Chrome extension

The extension saves your Block List and Pending Changes with Chrome's sync storage. If Chrome Sync is on, Google stores them in your Google Account and copies them to other computers where you're signed in to Chrome. Google handles that data under its own privacy policy; we never receive it. If Chrome Sync is off, they stay on your computer.

Your Unlock count and the current Unlock Session stay on each computer. Removing the extension deletes them. You can delete synced data from the Chrome data section of your Google Account.

The extension asks for access to the sites it blocks so it can show the Block Screen in their place. It doesn't collect or record the pages you visit.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

This website

This website uses no cookies, analytics, or ads and loads nothing from other sites. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes request data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Support email

If you write to support@noteverysecond.app, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. We delete them within one year after your question is resolved, or sooner if you ask, and we don't share them with anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here and update the date above.
